TORTILIS CAMP AMBOSELI
   

Tortilis Camp is situated on a hill with unrivalled views of Mt Kilimanjaro from Amboseli National Park. The Camp is located in a hillside setting, shaded by the natural forest of Acacia Tortilis Thorn Trees after which the Camp is named
Game drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the park, and within a private 30,000 acre game concession. Amboseli National Park is best known for its unrivalled views of Kilimanjaro and the local Elephant population. There are over 1000 Elephants in the Parks eco-system, featuring some of the largest in Africa.
 
Tortilis Camp Amboseli; tents are all large and spacious, with king or twin beds, elegant en suite bathrooms. There is a main lounge, bar and dining area, all exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs, with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro.


Day 2; Early morning we depart for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, Followed by a morning game drive
Amboseli is an excellent place to view including Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons; return to the lodge for Brunch

Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast.
Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

Day 3; After breakfast
You will be transferred to the airstrip for schedule charter flight to Nairobi at Wilson airport;  vehicle and driver guide will be waiting for on ward 2 hrs drive to  Aberdare National Park;
Arrive at the ARK Lodge on time for lunch

The Ark is designed with 'decks' from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage points for game viewing. A ground level bunker provides excellent photographic opportunities and takes you closer than you would believe possible to the animals.

THE ARK LODGE
  

Driving through lush tea and coffee estates to The Ark forest Lodge, Nestled in the foothills between Aberdare and Mount Kenya National Park, the lodges are famous for high perches and balconies, overlooking a salt lick and waterhole. Boasting a remarkable record of wildlife sightings from their floodlit waterhole's and salt licks, here we will enjoy the finest in high-altitude game viewing.
 
 Day 04; After breakfast
Guests may take a guided bush walks through the well-developed trails in the park.  guides have in-depth knowledge of the local flora, fauna and wildlife. The KWS rangers will be happy to answer any questions you have about animals or the history of the area. It is mandatory to have a ranger for the walks in the park

Day 05: After breakfast
We depart proceeding to Lake Nakuru National park located in the Great Rift Valley
The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe.
Arrive on time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill lodge;

The Sarova Lion Hill lodge is located in the heart of the Great African Rift Valley, on the shores of Lake Nakuru, one of East Africa's most famous soda lakes. The lodge setting, overlooking the lake, offers a unique vantage point.

SAROVA LION HILL LODGE
    

Today we travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch an exciting 'Spice' game run is planned for the afternoon. The game in this Park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant.

Guest to depart for full day at Lake Nakuru with Game drive
Return to lodge for lunch at the lodge

 We depart to Masai Mara Game Reserve

COTTAR 1920 SAFARI CAMP
   

Cottar's 1920s Safari Camp is situated in our extensive and exclusive concession between the Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Loliondo reserves. This area has been untouched by any kind of tourism or development and offers the discerning client a guarantee of privacy and an abundance of wildlife.
   The serene white canvassed camp recalls a bygone era when safaris were unrushed, elegant and oozed romance. The camp accommodates up to 22 guests and the tents are spacious and luxuriously furnished. They incorporate original safari antiques from the '20s, private en-suite dressing and bathrooms, main bedrooms and verandas.

 MIGRATION IN MASAI MARA
  

This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino.

The Mara Game Reserve – one of the greatest wildernesses. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park's are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles.

MASAI MARA DRAMA
  

Day 08: Today we depart for full-day with packed lunch in search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.

Day 09: After early breakfast, we depart for
 Full- Day Game drive; Packaged or lunch at the lodge
The Mara experience has remained the once-in-a-lifetime dream of safari lovers, during the months of August to November, thousands of visitors get down to the Maasai Mara to witness one of the most spectacular phenomena on earth. Stretching as far as the eye can see, a teeming mass of zebra, wildebeest, and topi, trailed by scavengers make way into the Mara plains from the Serengeti, in what is known as the Great Migration.
